Of course, you can. As you are the person who has made the booking it is extra important that you make sure the 'Sender' (at the pickup location) receives the consignment note via email and they fully understand what is required to complete a pickup.
Collection will be done between 9am and 5pm on working days as standard.
If for unforeseen circumstances the courier has not arrived to collect your freight by 5pm, please contact us so we can rebook collection.
If you know that you may not be available to hand your item to the driver there are several options available to avoid any additional possibly futile charges for you. Please contact us so we can look at other options.
Though you can choose to leave your parcel in a secure location, please be advised that your parcel won’t be protected for loss or damage if it is left unattended. In addition, we cannot guarantee that the driver will collect an unattended parcel as this is at their own discretion. Some couriers do have a policy against collecting unattended parcels. We therefore strongly advise customers to use a nearby drop-off poi nt (preferably a business address) instead.
If you need to change your collection address, you’ll need to contact us at the earliest at support@freightpoint.com.au

If the driver refused your parcel due to incorrect packaging, then you would need to repack your parcel.

Once you have done this, please rebook your collection, a futile fee of $26.- may apply. If you cannot repack for safe transit you can cancel and receive a refund.

Please note: It is the sender's responsibility to comply with current government regulations and laws applicable in relation to in each state and country. This responsibility and awareness is known as the Chain of Responsibility (CoR).

Under CoR, all parties who have any influence or control throughout the Supply Chain and transport process are responsible for complying with and are responsible in the event for breaches of the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

FreighPoint would like to make it clear, that it is excludes of the CoR as FreightPoint does not have any influence or control as we are acting as an online booking platform.

We currently only offer parcel drop off at a limited number of depots. Please contact us at support@freightpoint.com.au to confirm a local drop-off option.

When booking your job in, you will be asked whether you give authority for your goods to be left unattended if no one is at the delivery address when the driver delivers.

If you give authority to leave, we ask to specify a spot for the drive to leave the goods such as the side gate or front door step.

In the event that you have selected that there is 'no authority to leave' the item/s unattended at the delivery end, then the item will be taken back to the depot if no one is at the premises to accept it. An 'attempted delivery fee' of up to $33 will be charged to the card holder.

You can then choose to have the item redelivered on a particular day or collect the item from their local depot.

Alternatively, organise for your freight to be delivered to a business address that is open Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm to ensure someone is always at the premises to accept the freight.

Only if you purchased additional transport insurance/indemnity when placing your order, you may be eligible for a damage claim:

- You must notify us within three (3) days of delivery.
- The item you sent must not appear on our prohibited items list or declared as dangerous goods.

Please contact us at the time of booking via email: support@freightpoint.com.au
FreightPoint is only able to deliver to a PO Boxes on special instruction due to the limitation on couriers. If a consignment has to be returned for this reason, no refund will be given and futile fees may apply.
